Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin which exists naturally in two forms:

Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone) found in plants and vegetables such as: spinach, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce and collard greens and other foods such as milk, potatoes, oats, tomatoes and in most fruits. Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone – MK) which is synthesised by bacteria within the intestinal tract

Vitamin K accumulates in the liver, spleen and lungs but the body does not store significant amounts for long periods of time.
